Broccolini resembles regular broccoli, but is more delicate in flavour and appearance. It is the product of a cross between Chinese broccoli and regular broccoli. The thin stems and small heads are a bold green colour which deepens with cooking. Broccolini is most often used in Asian cuisine and stir-fries. It is also wonderful when steamed or boiled and used as a side dish.
